What a busy crafty month January was. Lots of exciting things happening upstairs at Loveone. We made beautiful vintage style cards, mini scrapbooks, butterfly pictures and some gorgeous sock monkeys. There are lots of new workshops planned for February and March so have a look at the calendar to see what’s coming up. With the addition of the 4 Singer sewing machines there’s a whole new creative avenue to explore with all things fabric. In December I will be offering Christmas Moss Wreath making workshops from The Garden Studio From 7:30-9:30pm. Mince pies and mulled wine will help your creative flow. I wanted to say thank you for a lovely afternoon spent making cupcake cards last week. The workshop provided a great balance between being guided through the techniques and materials available and being given the freedom to experiment and create my own designs. I was impressed with the number of cards I left with and with how professional they all looked! You have created a lovely atmosphere in your workshop and the free flowing tea and delicious cakes were the icing on the whole cupcake card experience! It was a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours. However I do wonder if the workshops should come with a warning as I am now rather addicted and have spent several hours since putting my new found skills to the test, with some great results! Thanks again and I look forward to joining you on another workshop in the near future!

I am excited to announce the launch of my new craft workshops starting on the 14th Sept 2011 at ‘Love One’, 21 St. Peters Street, Ipswich IP1 1XF. Mimibellatree I make handcrafted items using paper, fabric, buttons and embelishments. I use natural fabrics like wool felt and linen to create accessories for you and your home. The Ark and Craft Fayre I organise a local monthly craft fayre that takes place on the 3rd Saturday. All the arts and crafts are handmade by the crafters who are selling them. Each month we have a different line up with a great range of unique items where you will find that special gift for a loved one or a treasured keepsake for you. Our aim is to offer a place for crafters to sell their wares in a small and supportive environment and to celebrate talented people in Suffolk.
